Summer Is Nigh

So close but so far away. It's another 5 weeks until summer proper, but the weather is already there: heat and humidity interspersed with rain...

I get my first set of exam scripts on Monday and then more the Wednesday afterwards. Meanwhile, I have been invigilating and meeting up with friends more. It's been refreshing!

Finally watching "Abbott Elementary" and loving it. It's hilarious, with distinct characters and a great pace. Discovered a second season just tonight.

What am I reading? "The City We Became" by NK Jemisin. It's fresh, trippy and utterly original.
