Tea!

Happy new year.

It was a refreshing wintry time in Niseko, Hokkaido for me, braving the slopes for a day and then babysitting. The other half of the holiday in Japan was spent eating and walking around in Sapporo City, where I found Lupicia, a tea shop.

About two years ago, I was given a tin of tea called 'Soleil Levant.' It is described simply on the Hawaiian website as a "Fine quality Japanese green tea is accented with the aroma of white grapes, citrus fruit, and matcha powder. Clean and refreshing taste."

I'm banging on about this tea because you can actually smell and taste muscat grapes in it. It's lovely even on a second steep...
